Cliff Smith

President

Cliff Smith is a Probation Officer for Marion Municipal Court. He has worked as a Probation Officer for the past 5 years. In this role Cliff runs the court’s Diversion Program, diverting first-time offenders out of the criminal justice, as well as, working with military veterans through Veterans Treatment Court.

Cliff comes from a strong corrections background working with incarcerated adults and youths with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction and the Ohio Department of Youth Services. 

Cliff has an Associate Degree from Marion Technical College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University and a master’s degree from Ohio Dominican University.  Cliff believes in the mission and work of Marion Matters and considers it an honor to serve as a board member.
